At the end of January, we, together with the collaborators listed above, submitted our proposal for the parallel design competition for a structural plan for Refshaleøen and the masterplan for its first phase. In late spring, our team was selected to continue the development of the masterplan.
The vision for Refshaleøen is to transform the historic industrial island into a vibrant new district that expands Copenhagen while preserving its unique identity. Rooted in the area's maritime heritage, existing structures, and creative culture, the masterplan embraces transformation rather than replacement.
