Levantkaj Kranboligerne is a residential development currently in progress in collaboration with COBE. The two housing blocks are carefully integrated within the volumes of the existing container cranes, Mogens and Mille, which are preserved as powerful reminders of the harbour's industrial heritage. Retaining these iconic structures reinforces the area's identity while expressing its transformation from container port to a vibrant new waterfront neighbourhood.
The project forms an integral part of the future Levantparken, where active ground floors create a seamless transition between the buildings and the surrounding public realm. A café and other community-oriented functions activate the waterfront, strengthening the connection between the park, the harbour, and the new neighbourhood while contributing to a lively and welcoming urban environment.
